Profile 
As a textile designer, I strive to create meaningful work through the development of sustainable systems of production and products. Throughout my experience, my understanding of art and design has transformed, leading me to discover a genuine passion for weaving, print design, natural and resist dyeing, as well as material exploration and craft research. The core of my design process is fueled by sensitivity and empathy, which are among my most prominent attributes.

Designer, Spun by Welspun India Limited, Mumbai, India, January 2020- August 2020 Designed and developed 5 collections of 100% sustainable fashion and lifestyle accessories from discarded bedding factory waste for the International Gifts and Handicrafts Fair, India. Created these products in collaboration with women from Kutch, India as a means to empower them with new skills and a steady income.

Threads on My Mind, New York, New York, September 2023 Conducted a sold-out tapestry weaving workshop at MAD Museum for New York Textile Month. 
Slow Threads, Chennai, India, February 2022 Conducted natural dyeing and resist dyeing workshop to teach a skill they can learn from home using household ingredients and equipments.

A Decolonized Decarbonized Dinner Party, New York, New York, 2023 Published the article ‘A Recipe to Conserve and Consume’, showcasing a self-made handspun, handwoven textile made from kala cotton, that speaks about the use and promotion of this rain-fed organic cotton variety from India. 
Visual Philosophy, The New School, New York, March 2023 Organized an interdisciplinary conference across Parsons School of Design, Eugene Lang College of Liberal Arts and New School for Social Research, about the convergence of art and philosophy.
